As per the report, Vivo may launch a Y-series phone in India. This is the Vivo Y39 5G launched in the Malaysian market last month. The promotional marketing material of the phone has been leaked revealing its key specifications. Apart from this, we also get the price details of the upcoming offering. The Vivo Y39 5G is expected to arrive as a successor to the Vivo Y36 5G that was announced in 2023. Vivo launched the Vivo Y38 5G in May last year, but it was not released in India.
The leaked marketing material of the Vivo Y39 5G has revealed key details.

- The smartphone is expected to be priced at Rs 17,000 & Rs 20,000 for the 128GB and 256GB storage configurations, respectively.
- As per the leaked marketing report. The upcoming smartphone will feature an HD+ display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits peak brightness.
- The device will be available in Ocean Blue and Lotus Purple color options with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.
- It will feature a circular camera module consisting of 50MP main and 2MP bokeh sensors paired with an Aura LED flash. The device will feature an 8MP selfie snapper.

- Internally, the Vivo Y39 5G is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. There will be 8GB of RAM and the phone will be offered in 128GB and 256GB storage options.

As per the leaked marketing material, the Indian variant of the Vivo Y39 5G will have the same specifications as the model available in Malaysia. The phone is priced at MYR 1,099 (Rs 22,566) in the Malaysian market. Compared to the Vivo Y36 5G, the Y39 5G features several significant upgrades. The former features a 90Hz display, a Snapdragon 680 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery unit. It has a starting price of Rs 17,000 in India for the 8GB + 128GB option.
