The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 recently passed the 3C database in China. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE has been spotted on the certification platform. and Multiple reports have indicated that the company is working on a Fan Edition of the next-generation clamshell flip phone. However, it was also reported yesterday that the device might be delayed, and there might be a change in the processor powering the FE and the standard model.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE charging speed revealed
- The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE has been listed on 3C (via) with the model number SM-F7610 for the China market.
- This is in line with a similar model number spotted on Samsung’s OTA servers, i.e. SM-F761B (EUX), where the ‘B’ points to a European variant.
- The certification listing mentions that the device was tested with the EP-TA800 charger.
- It offers a maximum output of 25W, confirming support for charging speeds on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.

- The database also reveals support for 5G connectivity and the device will ship without a bundled charger in the box.
- Going by 3C, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will have the same charging speed as the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.
- However, the obvious difference is that the FE model is expected to be an affordable foldable offering.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE: what we know so far
- Previous reports suggested that Samsung may switch from Snapdragon chipsets to Exynos on this year’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 model.
- However, as per a recent development, the South Korean brand may retain the Snapdragon 8 Elite on the standard variant.
- Meanwhile. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE may reportedly be powered by the Exynos 2500 SoC instead of the previously rumored Exynos 2400e that was already expected to power the Galaxy S25 series.
- This is because the company’s foundry is facing challenges in producing 3nm chipsets.
- The report also states that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE may see a delayed launch, arriving several months later than the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, which are expected to launch in July this year.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 debuted at a starting price tag of Rs 1,09,999 and Rs 1,64,999, respectively.
