OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE 5 global launch date tipped: All Details Here

The OnePlus Nord 5 has been rumoured for quite some time now and is expected to launch soon. Tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed that the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE-5 will launch on 8 July.Although not officially confirmed, likely, its predecessor, Nord 4, was also launched in July last year. The OnePlus Nord is the brand’s mid-range series that is known for offering performance-oriented phones.

OnePlus Nord 5 Series Launch Date

• According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 will launch in July 2025.
• This is likely the global launch date for the OnePlus Nord 5 series, but it could also be launched in India on the same day, just like the Nord 4.
• There has been no official announcement about the OnePlus Nord 5 series from the brand yet. We haven’t even received any teasers about the upcoming phones yet.
• However, it is being speculated that the OnePlus Nord 5 series could launch as a rebranded version of the Ace 5 series available in China.

OnePlus Nord 5: what to expect

• The OnePlus Nord 5 price rate in India is expected to be around Rs 29,999. This will be similar to the Nord 4, which was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 29,999.
• The Nord 5 may feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, which is currently available on the Realme GT 7 (Review). It is a new mid-range chipset based on the flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset. In comparison, the Nord 4 was launched with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC.
• A big upgrade will be the battery capacity as the Nord 5 is likely to feature a 7,000mAh battery, specifically a 6,650mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. For reference, the Nord 4 has a 5500mAh battery.
• The smartphone is also expected to feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP Ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front camera.

• The OnePlus Nord CE 5 was recently spotted on BIS certification, confirming its India arrival.
• The smartphone is likely to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the Nord CE 4.
• The OnePlus Nord CE 5 may feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, while the Nord CE 4 may feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.
• The smartphone is likely to feature a 50MP Sony LYT600/IMX882 main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 4K 30/60fps video recording, and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera at the back and a 16MP selfie camera. The upgrade here is the Nord CE 4’s 2MP depth sensor, which has been replaced with an ultra-wide lens.
• The OnePlus Nord CE 5 may also feature a larger 7,100mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. If this is true, it would be a big upgrade over the 5,500mAh battery on the Nord CE 4, but charging will drop from 100W to 80W.
