Apple has confirmed that it will hold an event on September 9th. Of course, there’s no clear confirmation if this is the iPhone 16 event or not, but we all know this is the general timeline for the new iPhones. Other products include the Apple Watch Series 10 and new entry-level AirPods.
The event should be live streamed via Apple’s website, Apple TV app, and YouTube starting at 10:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time). Apart from this, the California-based company is holding an on-ground event at its headquarters, Apple Park.
Apple event tagline hints at Apple Intelligence
In the invitation sent to the media, Apple has shown a logo with different coloured stripes. This logo is accompanied by the tagline “It’s Glowtime.”
Based on the colors in this invite, Apple could be hinting at an Apple Intelligence-powered iPhone 16 series. Recall that the brand showcased its “personal intelligence” capabilities at WWDC 2024 this year, and the entire series is expected to launch with support for this built-in AI thanks to the Apple A18 chipset.
