Vivo is yet to discontinue the T4 series. The company has so far launched the Vivo T4, T4x, T4 Ultra, and T4 Lite. That is already enough, but there is news that Vivo is planning to add another model of smartphone to the T4 series. Vivo’s next product will be the Vivo T4R, which will mark the start of a new ‘R’ sub-series. The name may sound a bit confusing as the letters T and R are put together, but it seems that this is what Vivo has planned.
The Vivo T4r 5G will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. This is a mid-range chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.6GHz. It powers mid-range phones such as the Motorola Edge 60 and the Realme Narzo 80 Pro. Based on this information, we can expect the Vivo T4R to be priced around this. The report also hints at the price of the upcoming Vivo smartphone, which could be between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.
The Vivo T4R is also said to feature IP68 and IP69 certification for dust and water resistance. These are the highest IP ratings for Mobile phones, allowing them to withstand dust and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. As for its specifications, this is all we know about the Vivo T4R so far. The brand is yet to release a teaser for its new phone, and we don’t know any exact launch date for it either.
Based on the leaked price of the smartphone Vivo T4R, the Chinese brand will cover all the popular segments. For instance, the Vivo T4 Lite is the most affordable lineup with a starting price of Rs 9,999. The Vivo T4x is the second phone, with the base model priced at Rs 13,999. This is followed by the Vivo T4 phone, which has a starting price of Rs 21,999 in India. The smartphone Vivo T4 Ultra is the most expensive, priced at Rs 37,999.
Hence, Vivo will capture the Rs 15,000-20,000 price segment with the T4R. It will also cover all the popular segments in the budget and mid-range categories with its new launch. But it is worth noting that there could be confusion with so many models in the same series. Vivo has kept all the T4 phones different in terms of design, so the T4R may not even look like its older models. We will have to wait for more information to know more about the upcoming Vivo phones.
